Add Some Color to Your Blog
Colors make your blog posts more pleasant to the eye
Our eyes like color better than boring black & white. Take summer meals for example: I just love the different colors of our Sunday barbecues: grilled corn & zucchini, tomato salad & some smoked salmon. A feast for your pallot and your eyes. It’s the same when you’re readers are devouring your content: add some color & they’ll enjoy it even more.
Look at your theme’s headings
Each theme in WordPress comes with pre-defined headings (those titles that Google loves). Most come in different sizes, some come in color. What many people don’t know, is that in most cases the color & size of these headings can be changed. Ask your web designer or your VA to give you a print out of the existing headings, and then decide which heading should go with which color and in which size. He/she can then easily update your theme.
Don’t overdo it
Too much is always overkill. Usually a theme comes with 5 headings, but to have 5 different colors, each subtitle in a different color would simply be too much! Choose two colors which match your brand. One that you use for all your main titles, then one additional one, which you will use for call to actions.
Give it a try, you will see that you & your readers will love your blog even more!
