How to add Skills to your LinkedIn profile

At the beginning of 2011 LinkedIn introduced “LinkedIn Skills“. There is much more to “LinkedIn Skills” than just displaying your main skills on your profile (which is already a great thing).
LinkedIn has created a big search engine which, if you search for a particular skill, will show you key people within that community, related jobs, related companies, and groups where you can interact with like minded professionals. Do you see the interest of this yet ? Basically your profile can now be searched by skill rather than just by title or name. I have seen a big increase of profile visits ever since I added this feature to my profile.
